I rediscoved a little gem perfect for the first week of the Leo Sun: notes from a workshop with internationally acclaimed speaker Helen Collier who travelled the world around teaching leadership skills. The Leo notes are my own.

1. POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE – upbeat, happy, sees life as a cup half full rather than half empty.
In Leo we celebrate Life! Is any problem so great as to forget the gifts of life? A single thought of sincere gratitude disperses sulking with a child like smile, the heart’s recognition of something taken for granted; how wonderful that the Sun shines upon us, blessing the entire Earth!
2. FLEXIBILITY – a willingness to be open to change, to create a harmonious working relationship with others by considering their needs, viewpoints and ways of being.
Leo is one of the FIXED SIGNS (Leo, Aquarius, Taurus & Scorpio). Leo valor in the face of great challenge is inspiring, a Leo leadership quality but the same steadfastness turns sour when expressed as a refusal to modify one’s desires for the good of all.
3. SINCERITY & 4. FRANKNESS IN MANNER AND SPEECH: honesty in manner, speech, purpose and expression. Being Real
Leo relates to the heart. In Leo, be heart-centered, true to yourself and to others! Seeing the good in another is a quality of graciousness, an expression of love. But, beware of flattery, the Leo Achilles heel!. As the Galilean Master taught, call no man good!
